Welcome to Teach Love & Travel! We are so excited to share our teaching and traveling adventures with you. Our goal is to inspire others to pursue their dreams of teaching and traveling. We believe that through education, we can make the world a better place.
We met while we were both teaching in South Korea. We instantly connected over our love of travel and adventure. After a few years of teaching, we decided to quit our jobs, sell everything we owned, and hit the road. We’ve been traveling and teaching ever since!
We’ve been to some amazing places and had some incredible experiences. We’ve taught English in China, Vietnam, and Thailand. We’ve volunteered in Nepal and India. We’ve hiked through the jungle and slept in hammocks on the beach. We’ve had some tough times too, like when we got scammed in Cambodia and when we got food poisoning in Laos. But overall, we’ve loved every minute of it!
We started this blog to share our stories and to inspire others to travel and teach. We believe that teaching is a great way to see the world and to make a difference in the lives of others. We’ve made friends from all over the world and learned more than we ever could have imagined.
Of course, it hasn’t all been easy. We’ve had our fair share of challenges, from getting our visas renewed to dealing with homesickness. But we’ve learned that the best way to deal with these challenges is to embrace them as part of the adventure.
